Summary

We are seeking an experienced British Chief Engineer to join a SOV operating from the UK on April 16th.

 Role Details:

Initial Trip Duration: 6 weeks

First 2 weeks: Overlapping with the current onboard Chief Engineer for a smooth handover

Following 4 weeks: Standard rotation period
Rate: £406 per day

Location: UK waters

Vessel Type: SOV

Essential Experience Required:

Previous SOV experience

Walk-to-Work (W2W) operational expertise

Eligibility Requirements:

Nationality: Due to client-specific requirements, only British passport holders can be considered.

Documentation: Candidates must hold all required and up-to-date certifications to qualify for this position.

Minimum Essential Documentation

  • COC : A-III 2 Chief Engineer Officer Unlimited
  • Skills & Training Certificates : DP Maintenance
  • STCW : A-VI 1-1 Personal Survival Techniques (PST)
  • STCW : A-VI 1-2 Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FP&FF)
  • STCW : A-VI 1-3 Proficiency in Elementary First Aid (EFA)
  • STCW : A-VI 1-4 Proficiency in Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR)
  • STCW : A-VI 2-1 Proficiency in Survival Craft Rescue Boats Other Than Fast Rescue Boats (PSC&RB)
  • STCW : A-VI 3 Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF)
  • STCW : A-VI 4-1 Proficiency in Medical First Aid (MFA)
  • STCW : A-VI 6-2 Designated Security Duties

Experience Required

Previous experience on SOV/W2W vessels is highly desirable.
